Kate comes home one day and finds that her
two flatmates, Joe and Sean, in bed together. Sean suggests she
join them. And with that act, Ménage begins the story
of the attempts of the three to formulate a triad.
Being clearly aimed at the erotic fiction market, and suffers
from some of the flaws you might expect from that genre.
The plot and pacing occasionally feel formulaic.
On the other hand,
I found the characters to be a relatively well-defined and
the desciptions vivid and interesting. The sexual situations
vary across the map and are well done.
Of course this book doesn't (and isn't attempting to) portray realistic
models for polyamorous relationships. However, it does
draw interesting characters well enough that it makes a good,
fun, and quite erotic read.
I quite enjoyed it.
